Painty is a very sweet turtle and we love her very much! She is about 8 years old and has a shell length of 15 cm (this species can live 20-30 years and reach a shell length of 23 cm). Painted Wood Turtles have advanced care requirements and this particular turtle requires some extra attention and specialized care. Her enclosure needs to be at least 90 gallons with both land and water. We are in no hurry to rehome her and will be leaving lots of time for applications. We are not just looking for a good home where she will be cared for properly, we are looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond.
